A stunning plant, no Mediterranean garden is complete without it. An amazing show of colour that will last throughout the summer.
Likes full sun and the soil should be kept evenly moist. Fertilize early spring, summer and autumn. It looses its leaves in the winter and that is when you should prune. We like to cut them down quite deep and find that our plants just love it.
Caution: Bougainvillea has a sensitive root system, the root ball should be kept intact when transplanting
